For the better accomplishment of the Vision and objectives of Gamma Kappa Phi, established by
11 Founders, of honored memory, at Divine Word College on October 9, 1962, and organized
as a Fraternity and Sorority in the then Municipality of Tagbilaran, Province of Bohol, Republic of the Philippines.
The following Constitution is adopted.
Beginning of the General Constitution
ARTICLE I: NAME
The name of this organization shall be Gamma Kappa Phi Fraternity & Sorority
ARTICLE II: MISSION, OBJECTIVES, AND SYMBOLS
Section 1. Mission. Gamma Kappa Phi Fraternity & Sorority develops leaders,
promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for
our communities.
Section 2. Objectives. The objectives of this Fraternity shall be to stimulate the
ambition of its members, to prepare them for the greatest usefulness in the causes of
humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual; to encourage the highest and noblest
form of manhood; and to aid downtrodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher social,
economic and intellectual status.
Section 3. Fraternity Monogram. The symbols shall be the Greek letters: ΓΚΦ.
Section 4. Symbol (i.e., the Seal, Emblem). The main circle where Gamma Kappa Phi is written, particularly its
15 yellow and red 15 rays, and the triangle of brotherhood, service, and honor is our official symbol.

Section 5. Fraternity Insignia. The Fraternity Initiation Paddles and red blindfold hankerchief are the insignia.
Section 6. Fraternity Coat-of-arms. The Fraternal Design is the official coat-of-arms design of the Fraternity.

Section 7. Fraternity Colors. The official colors shall be red, yellow, blue, and white.
Section 8. Fraternity Anthem. The official Anthem shall be the song ‘Ten Stout Hearted Men’.
Section 9. Fraternity Logo. The official logo shall bear the words “Gamma Kappa Phi.”
with the Greek Letters ΓΚΦ in the center. The logo
is a monochromatic marine blue color showing the 15-ray outline.

Section 10. Fraternity Bird. The Philippine Eagle is the official bird.
Section 11. Fraternity Aims. The aims of this Fraternity shall be brotherhood,
service, and honor.
Section 12. Fraternity Motto. The motto of this Fraternity shall be “One Gamma Kappa Phi Principle”.
ARTICLE III: THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
To be implemented and discussed at the upcoming Plenum of Gamma Kappa Phi Organizers
Section 1. General Organization Composition. The General Administration shall be
composed of the General Officers, the Past General Presidents, the Chapters (College and
Alumni, General Standing Committees,
by the Supreme Governing Council.
Section 2. The Supreme Governing Council.
2.1 The Supreme Governing Council shall comprise the General Officers, the Past
General Presidents, the Chairmen of General Standing Committees, and the
Delegates from College Chapters and Alumni Chapters.
2.2 The Supreme Governing Council has the sole power to enact legislation and
policy for the regulation of all matters pertaining to the General
Organization, except those which are otherwise expressly provided for in the
General Constitution and Bylaws.
2.3 The Supreme Governing Body has the authority to supervise the activities of
The members of the General Organization, including all initiated members.
Section 3. The General Convention. The assembly of the General Organization shall be
known as the General Convention.
Section 4. The Fraternity. The Fraternity is subdivided into Regions, which are comprised of Colleges
Chapters and Alumni Chapters, all of whom have representation in the General
Administration.
ARTICLE IV: THE REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION
Section 1. Designation of Regions. The Regions of the Fraternity shall be the Luzon
Region, the Visayas Region, the Mindanao Region, and the
International Region.
Section 2. Regional Jurisdiction. Each Region shall have jurisdiction over the Chapters
within its designated geographic area.
Section 3. Elected Regional Officers. Each Region shall elect a Regional Vice President.
ARTICLE V: CONVENTIONS
Section 1. General Conventions.
1.1 The Supreme Governing Council shall meet biennially at a General Convention.
1.2 The President shall notify the members of the place and time of the
General Convention, as previously determined by the Supreme Governing
Council.
Section 2. Special Conventions.
2.1 The Supreme Governing Council shall meet at a Special Legislative Convention
convened to address a specific purpose.
2.2 The Special Legislative Convention shall meet at the direction of the
Supreme Governing Council or by petition of not less than two-thirds (2/3)
vote of the General Board of Directors.
2.3 The General President shall notify the members of the place and time of the
Special Legislative Convention.
Section 3. Voting Members.
3.1 The voting members of the Supreme Governing Council shall be the elected
General Officers, the Past General Presidents, the Chapter Delegates, and the
Chairmen of the General Standing Committees, each of whom shall have one
(1) vote.
3.2 Chapters shall have Delegate representation at General Conventions or
Special Legislative Conventions.
3.3 Delegates registered and present from one-fourth (1/4) of the Chapters in
Good standing shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of business.
Section 4. Attendees.
4.1 Delegates must be members in good standing.
4.2 Nonvoting members may attend and participate in a General Convention or
Special Legislative Convention, but shall not have the right to vote.
